destMaximumDialoutConnectTime

Module: SBE-MIB

OID (symbolic): SBE-MIB::destMaximumDialoutConnectTime

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1055.2.6.1.1.13

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Default value on nX: 0 On nX: both ram and flash, field trial 1

This object contains, in minutes, the maximum time to leave this connection active for dialout. After the time elapses, the nX will automatically hangup the connection, assuming the user has not already manually terminated the connection. A value of zero means there is no time limit. For any given call, this time by be shortened because of a value in the User Maximum Dialout Connect Time object. (For dialin, the maximum connect time comes from the User Table.) (If we require a default user name for the destination, we could take the maximum dialout time from the User Table.)

What is destMaximumDialoutConnectTime?

Sets the maximum minutes (0 = no limit) this dialout connection to the destination is allowed to stay up before the unit automatically hangs it up. An admin caps this on a metered long-distance destination to control per-call cost, though the User Table's own max-time setting can shorten it further for a given call.
