What is salixLiuOrderwireEnabled?

This read-write flag indicates and controls whether the orderwire, a voice communication channel embedded in the SONET signal, is enabled on a given Line Interface Unit (LIU) plug-in card. An admin enables this when field technicians need a dedicated voice channel over the SONET line for coordination during installation or maintenance work. For example, a technician working on a remote LIU might have the admin set salixLiuOrderwireEnabled to true(1) so they can use a handset connected via the orderwire to communicate with the central office during troubleshooting.
