Description: This is an action object to send a Remove Station MAC frame to the station. The following value can be written: remove(2)...causes a frame to be sent
The following values can be read: stable(1)...a frame is not currently being sent remove(2)...in progress of sending a frame.
What is s5TrStaCtlRemove?
This is an action object: writing remove(2) sends a Remove Station MAC frame to force this station off the ring, while reading back stable(1) means no such frame is currently being sent and remove(2) means one is in progress. An admin uses this to remotely eject a misbehaving or unauthorized station from the ring without physical access.
