s5ChasAttClusterConnCapability

Module: S5-CHASSIS-MIB

OID (symbolic): S5-CHASSIS-MIB::s5ChasAttClusterConnCapability

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.45.1.6.3.4.2.1.7

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: OCTET STRING

Access: read-only

Description: A bit array that contains the bit map representing all available backplane segment and local segment connections for the cluster. One bit is also reserved to indicate if the cluster has an isolate capability.

The first 31 bits of the array represent the backplane numbers, starting from the lower order bit. Bit 32 indicates whether the Cluster has a null connection capability. The bits in the fifth and sixth octets, starting with bits in the lower order octet, represent local segments that the cluster can connect to.

A bit with a value of 1 means that the cluster is capable of connecting to the corresponding backplane segment, local segment or null segment.

What is s5ChasAttClusterConnCapability?

A bit-array showing which backplane segments and local segments this cluster is capable of connecting to, plus one bit for 'null'/isolate capability; the first bits map to backplane numbers, a specific bit flags null-connection support, and later bits (in the fifth/sixth octets) flag local-segment connectivity. A bit set to 1 means that connection is supported.
