Module: S412-MIB

OID (symbolic): S412-MIB::forceTraps

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.3052.41.1.6

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Any write non-zero forces set of traps to be send to the SNMP Manager

What is forceTraps?

Writing any non-zero value to this object forces the S412 to immediately send its full set of status traps to the configured SNMP managers. An admin can use this to trigger an on-demand trap burst for testing trap reception without waiting for a real alarm or the periodic status interval.
