Description: The current status of the transfer task. See rsDhcpLeaseFileLastError to diagnose why the transfer failed.

What is rsDhcpLeaseFileTransferStatus?

This read-only value reports the current status of the lease-file transfer task: idle(1), sending(2) (agent to manager), receiving(3) (manager to agent), transferComplete(4), or error(5), defaulting to idle. An admin polls it after activating a transfer to know when the operation has finished and whether it succeeded, checking rsDhcpLeaseFileLastError if it reports error. For example, an admin who just activated a lease-file transfer would poll this object until it reads transferComplete(4), or investigate further if it instead reads error(5).
