What Is RIELLO-MIB?
RIELLO-MIB is a vendor root MIB from Riello, a manufacturer of uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, establishing the base OID structure under which Riello's UPS management objects are registered. It contains only structural/root definitions rather than data objects itself, so the actual monitorable data (battery status, input/output voltage, load, runtime remaining, alarms) lives in child MIBs that branch from this root. As a UPS vendor MIB family, its descendants are the primary mechanism for monitoring UPS hardware status such as battery health, power supply state, and alarm/fault conditions in facilities using Riello equipment. It commonly coexists with or maps to the standard UPS-MIB (RFC 1628) conventions used across UPS vendors. It is deployed in data centers and facilities using Riello UPS units for power protection monitoring via SNMP. Keeping the RIELLO-MIB reference alongside its child modules helps administrators quickly locate where a specific Riello UPS status object is actually defined.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in RIELLO-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- Riello UPS Master HP UL (2025) — three-phase 65-250 kVA double-conversion UPS, IGBT/DSP-based
- Riello UPS Multi Power2 M2X — modular UPS for 15-120 kW data center/critical applications, up to 98.1% efficiency
- Riello UPS systems
Monitoring Examples
This module defines only the root OID node for Riello devices with no sample objects or data tables of its own; actual monitoring objects (battery charge, load, alarms) reside in subordinate Riello MIB modules that register under this root, so no concrete polling scenario applies to this module directly.
