wfOspfImportASExtern
Module: RFC7777-MIB
OID (symbolic): RFC7777-MIB::wfOspfImportASExtern
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.18.3.5.3.2.3.2.1.6
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: 'The area's support for importing AS external link- state advertisements.' REFERENCE 'OSPF Version 2, Appendix C.2 Area parameters'
What is wfOspfImportASExtern?
This read-write flag controls whether an OSPF area accepts AS-external link-state advertisements, i.e. routes learned from outside the OSPF domain. Setting it false effectively makes the area a stub area that relies on a default route instead.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.18.3.5.3.2.3.2.1.6 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> RFC7777-MIB::wfOspfImportASExtern
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.18.3.5.3.2.3.2.1.6.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> RFC7777-MIB::wfOspfImportASExtern.1
Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):
snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.18.3.5.3.2.3.2.1.6.1 i <value>
