wfOspfIfTxDBDescripts
Module: RFC7777-MIB
OID (symbolic): RFC7777-MIB::wfOspfIfTxDBDescripts
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.18.3.5.3.2.3.5.1.19
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: Counter
Access: read-only
Description: Number of OSPF DataBase Description packets transmitted.
What is wfOspfIfTxDBDescripts?
This read-only counter tracks the number of OSPF Database Description packets transmitted on this interface. These packets are exchanged during the initial database synchronization phase of forming a neighbor adjacency, so a stuck count can indicate an adjacency stalled mid-negotiation.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.18.3.5.3.2.3.5.1.19 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> RFC7777-MIB::wfOspfIfTxDBDescripts
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.18.3.5.3.2.3.5.1.19.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> RFC7777-MIB::wfOspfIfTxDBDescripts.1
SNMPv3 example:
snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> wfOspfIfTxDBDescripts.1
