What is dsx1ExtCfgPortStatus?
This read-write flag controls whether the T1/E1 port for this entry will be activated or kept deactivated. Because the change only takes effect after the next reset, an admin must set this to enabled(2) and then reset the unit before traffic will actually flow on that port. For instance, an admin brings up a previously unused T1 line by setting dsx1ExtCfgPortStatus to enabled(2) on that link's row and then rebooting the device.
