Description: The metric value applied at the indicated type of service. By default, this equals the least metric at the type of service among the interfaces to other areas.
What is ospfStubMetric?
This is the metric value an Area Border Router advertises as the default route cost into this stub area, for the given type of service; by default it equals the least metric at that TOS among the ABR's interfaces to other areas. Admins raise or lower this to make the stub area's default route look more or less attractive relative to routes through other ABRs, when multiple ABRs feed the same stub area.
