ospfNBMANbrStatus
Module: RFC1248-MIB
OID (symbolic): RFC1248-MIB::ospfNBMANbrStatus
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.13.10.1.9
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: Validation
Access: read-write
Description: This variable displays the validity or invalidity of the entry. Setting it to 'invalid' has the effect of rendering it inoperative. The internal effect (row removal) is implementation dependent.
What is ospfNBMANbrStatus?
This shows whether a manually configured non-broadcast multi-access (NBMA) neighbor entry is currently valid or invalid, with 'invalid' rendering it inoperative. Admins use this to remove a statically defined NBMA neighbor, such as on a Frame Relay or X.25 network where neighbors must be configured rather than discovered.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.13.10.1.9 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> RFC1248-MIB::ospfNBMANbrStatus
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.13.10.1.9.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> RFC1248-MIB::ospfNBMANbrStatus.1
Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):
snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.13.10.1.9.1 s <value>
SNMPv3 example:
snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> ospfNBMANbrStatus.1
