Description: The Link State ID is an LS Type Specific field containing either a Router ID or an IP Address; it identifies the piece of the routing domain that is being described by the advertisement.

What is ospfLsdbLSID?

This is the Link State ID of a link-state-database entry, an LS-type-specific field holding either a Router ID or an IP address that identifies exactly what part of the routing domain this LSA describes. Admins use it, together with ospfLsdbType and ospfLsdbAreaId, to pinpoint a specific LSA when troubleshooting routing table discrepancies.
