ospfAreaRangeNet
Module: RFC1248-MIB
OID (symbolic): RFC1248-MIB::ospfAreaRangeNet
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.13.5.1.2
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: IpAddress
Access: read-write
Description: The IP Address of the Net or Subnet indicated by the range.
What is ospfAreaRangeNet?
This is the IP network or subnet address that, together with ospfAreaRangeMask, defines the range of addresses being summarized for the associated area -- for example a class B network X.X.X.X with mask 255.255.0.0 covering X.X.0.0 through X.X.255.255. Admins configure this to reduce how much detailed routing information about an area is advertised to the rest of the OSPF domain.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.13.5.1.2 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> RFC1248-MIB::ospfAreaRangeNet
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.13.5.1.2.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> RFC1248-MIB::ospfAreaRangeNet.1
Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):
snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.13.5.1.2.1 a <value>
