Description: The Subnet Mask that pertains to the Net or Subnet.
What is ospfAreaRangeMask?
This is the subnet mask that pairs with ospfAreaRangeNet to define an address-range summarization boundary for an area. Admins set a broader mask here, e.g. 255.255.0.0 instead of several /24s, to fold multiple subnets in an area into one summarized advertisement.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.13.5.1.3 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> RFC1248-MIB::ospfAreaRangeMask
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.13.5.1.3.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> RFC1248-MIB::ospfAreaRangeMask.1
Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):
snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.13.5.1.3.1 a <value>
