What is ospfAreaRangeAreaID?

This identifies which OSPF area an address-range summarization entry applies to. Admins set this when configuring route summarization at an area boundary, so a whole block of subnets in that area gets advertised to the rest of the network as one summary route.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.13.5.1.1
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> RFC1248-MIB::ospfAreaRangeAreaID

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.13.5.1.1.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> RFC1248-MIB::ospfAreaRangeAreaID.1
