rptrPortSecurityFullSecEnabled
Module: REPEATER-REV4-MIB
OID (symbolic): REPEATER-REV4-MIB::rptrPortSecurityFullSecEnabled
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.1.1.4.3.9.1.1.7
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: A port that is set to full security and is locked will scramble ALL packets, which are not contained in the expected address list, including broadcasts and multicasts. A port that is set to partial security will allow broadcasts and multicasts to repeat unscrambled.
What is rptrPortSecurityFullSecEnabled?
Sets how strictly a locked, secured port enforces its address list: fullSecurity(2) scrambles every packet not from an allowed address, including broadcasts and multicasts, while partialSecurity(1) still lets broadcasts and multicasts pass through unscrambled.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.1.1.4.3.9.1.1.7 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> REPEATER-REV4-MIB::rptrPortSecurityFullSecEnabled
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.1.1.4.3.9.1.1.7.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> REPEATER-REV4-MIB::rptrPortSecurityFullSecEnabled.1
Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):
snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.1.1.4.3.9.1.1.7.1 i <value>
