rptrPortSecurityForceNonSecure

Module: REPEATER-REV4-MIB

OID (symbolic): REPEATER-REV4-MIB::rptrPortSecurityForceNonSecure

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.1.1.4.3.9.1.1.9

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: The force non-secure state of port. If the port is Forced, Non-Secure via a value of forceNonSecure(2), it is put into a Non-Secure state, in which case it cannot be locked. If a port is not forced noForce(1), then it will take on its natural state, according to the traffic flow on the port.

What is rptrPortSecurityForceNonSecure?

Setting this to forceNonSecure(2) manually overrides this port into a non-lockable, non-secure state regardless of its natural traffic pattern (e.g. to guarantee a trunk-facing port is never accidentally locked); noForce(1) lets the port's secure eligibility follow its actual traffic.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.1.1.4.3.9.1.1.9
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> REPEATER-REV4-MIB::rptrPortSecurityForceNonSecure

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.1.1.4.3.9.1.1.9.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> REPEATER-REV4-MIB::rptrPortSecurityForceNonSecure.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.1.1.4.3.9.1.1.9.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> rptrPortSecurityForceNonSecure.1
