rptrPortSecurityDisableOnViolation

Module: REPEATER-REV4-MIB

OID (symbolic): REPEATER-REV4-MIB::rptrPortSecurityDisableOnViolation

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.1.1.4.3.9.1.1.6

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Designates whether port is disabled if its source address is violated. A source address violation occurs when a address is detected which is not in the source address list for this port. If the port is disabled due to the source address violation it can be enabled by setting rptrPortMgmtAdminState.

What is rptrPortSecurityDisableOnViolation?

Controls whether this port automatically shuts itself down the moment an unauthorized (non-locked) source address is detected — set to disable(2) for strict enforcement; a port disabled this way must be manually re-enabled via rptrPortMgmtAdminState.
