rptrRedundReset
Module: REPEATER-MIB
OID (symbolic): REPEATER-MIB::rptrRedundReset
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.1.1.4.1.4.1.1
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: If this object is set to Reset it will cause a reset of the redundancy object to occur. Setting this object to NoReset will do nothing. This object will always be read as NoReset.
What is rptrRedundReset?
Setting this read-write object to reset(2) reinitializes the redundancy subsystem for this segment; setting it to noReset(1) does nothing, and a read always returns noReset. Admins use it to force the redundancy logic to re-evaluate primary/backup circuit state after a configuration change, without power-cycling the whole repeater. Because it always reads back as noReset, this is a one-shot command object rather than a persistent setting.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.1.1.4.1.4.1.1 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> REPEATER-MIB::rptrRedundReset
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.1.1.4.1.4.1.1.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> REPEATER-MIB::rptrRedundReset.1
Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):
snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.1.1.4.1.4.1.1.1 i <value>
SNMPv3 example:
snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> rptrRedundReset.1
