rptrPortGrpMgmtPortsEnable

Module: REPEATER-MIB

OID (symbolic): REPEATER-MIB::rptrPortGrpMgmtPortsEnable

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.1.1.4.2.1.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Setting this object to Enable will cause all the ports residing in this network segment to be enabled. Setting this object to noEnable will have no effect. When read this object will always return noEnable.

What is rptrPortGrpMgmtPortsEnable?

Setting this read-write object to enable(2) turns on every port on this board at once; noEnable(1) has no effect, and a read always returns noEnable. Admins use it to bulk-recover a whole board after maintenance instead of enabling each port individually. Because it always reads back noEnable, it behaves as a one-shot command rather than a persistent flag, just like rptrMgmtPortsEnable at the segment level.

Examples

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.1.1.4.2.1.1.4
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> REPEATER-MIB::rptrPortGrpMgmtPortsEnable

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.1.1.4.2.1.1.4.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> REPEATER-MIB::rptrPortGrpMgmtPortsEnable.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.1.1.4.2.1.1.4.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> rptrPortGrpMgmtPortsEnable.1
