Description: The maximum number of corresponding entries allowed in the rbnPingHistoryTable. The oldest corresponding entry in the rbnPingHistoryTable will be removed to allow the addition of a new entry once the number of corresponding rows in the rbnPingHistoryTable reaches this value.

When a pingCtlTable entry is removed, all corresponding entries in the rbnPingHistoryTable will also be removed.

A value of 0 for this object disables creation of rbnPingHistoryTable entries.

What is rbnPingCtlMaxHistoryRows?

This sets how many historical result rows are retained in rbnPingHistoryTable for this specific ping test, with the oldest row dropped once the limit is reached, and a value of 0 disabling history retention entirely for this test. Admins tune this to balance how much ping-test history is kept in memory against how far back they need to look for trend analysis. Setting rbnPingCtlMaxHistoryRows to 0 for a given test disables history storage for it entirely, leaving only the live results.
