What is rbnPingCtlIpDontFragment?
This controls whether the ping probe packets for this test are sent with the IP Don't Fragment (DF) flag set. Admins enable this when they want to test for path MTU issues, since a DF-flagged oversized packet will trigger an ICMP fragmentation-needed error instead of silently fragmenting. Setting rbnPingCtlIpDontFragment to true(1) turns this ping test into a path-MTU discovery probe.
