rbnIcrPriority

Module: RBN-ICR-MIB

OID (symbolic): RBN-ICR-MIB::rbnIcrPriority

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2352.2.101.1.1.1.8

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-create

Description: This object indicates the ICR priority. The priority is used for setting the initial preference level when the prefixes are advertised and is used for tie-break in case both the local ICR node and its peer node are booted up at the same time. The local and the peer ICR nodes MUST configure different priorities

What is rbnIcrPriority?

This read-create enumerated value sets the ICR node's priority, choosing between low(1, the default) and high(2), used both to set the initial route-advertisement preference level and to break ties if both ICR nodes boot simultaneously. Per the description, the local and peer nodes must be configured with different priorities. Setting this node to high(2) while its peer is set to low(1) would make this node win the tie-break and become the active ICR node on simultaneous boot-up.
