Description: This object indicates the type of 'rbnIcrLocalAddress'.

What is rbnIcrLocalAddressType?

This read-create object indicates the address type (e.g. IPv4, IPv6) of the corresponding rbnIcrLocalAddress, defaulting to unknown. Admins set this along with the local address so the ICR (Inter-Chassis Redundancy) process knows how to interpret the local address value used to send and receive ICR messages. Setting it to ipv4(1) tells the agent that rbnIcrLocalAddress should be parsed as a 4-byte IPv4 address.
