Module: RAQMON-RDS-MIB

OID (symbolic): RAQMON-RDS-MIB::raqmonDsStaticNotification

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.16.32.0.1

Node type: NOTIFICATION-TYPE

Description: This notification maps the static parameters in the BASIC RAQMON PDU onto an SNMP transport. This notification is expected to be sent once per session, or when a new sub-session is initiated. The following objects MAY be carried by the raqmonDsStaticNotification:

raqmonDsDataSourceDevicePort, raqmonDsReceiverDevicePort, raqmonDsSessionSetupDateTime, raqmonDsSessionSetupDelay, raqmonDsSessionDuration, raqmonDsSourcePayloadType, raqmonDsReceiverPayloadType, raqmonDsSourceLayer2Priority, raqmonDsSourceDscp, raqmonDsDestinationLayer2Priority, raqmonDsDestinationDscp

It is RECOMMENDED to keep the size of a notification within the MTU size limits in order to avoid fragmentation.

Examples

Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):

snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' RAQMON-RDS-MIB::raqmonDsStaticNotification
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.2.1.16.32.0.1

Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):

snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public

Example snmptrapd log entry:

zoo11-linux.zoo [UDP: [192.168.30.111]:56450->[192.168.30.10]:162]:
  DISMAN-EVENT-MIB::sysUpTimeInstance = Timeticks: (240294018) 27 days, 19:29:00.18
  SNMPv2-MIB::snmpTrapOID.0 = OID: RAQMON-RDS-MIB::raqmonDsStaticNotification
