rlQosPolicerPbs

Module: RADLAN-QOS-CLI-MIB

OID (symbolic): RADLAN-QOS-CLI-MIB::rlQosPolicerPbs

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.89.88.10.1.10

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-create

Description: Peak burst Value. When both this and rlQosPolicerPir are 0 this means the mode is Single Rate and when they are both non 0 this means the mode is Two Rate.

What is rlQosPolicerPbs?

This read-create Unsigned32 sets the peak burst size, in bytes, used by a QoS policer entry to absorb short traffic bursts above the peak rate. Like rlQosPolicerPir, its value in relation to zero determines the policing mode: both zero means single-rate policing, both non-zero means two-rate policing, so an admin tunes it alongside the peak rate to control burst tolerance. For instance, an admin might set rlQosPolicerPbs to 32000 bytes to let a class briefly burst above its configured peak rate without immediately being marked out of profile.
