rlIpv6DefaultUP

Module: RADLAN-IPv6

OID (symbolic): RADLAN-IPv6::rlIpv6DefaultUP

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.89.129.17

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: The default value inserted into the User Priority field in the 802.1q VLAN tag of IPv4 frames sent by the CPU.

What is rlIpv6DefaultUP?

This read-write integer, from 0 to 7, sets the default 802.1p User Priority value inserted into the VLAN tag of IPv4 frames sent by the device's CPU. Admins tune it to control the switching priority given to locally generated control-plane traffic from the device itself. For example, setting rlIpv6DefaultUP to 7 marks CPU-originated frames with the highest 802.1p priority, helping ensure management traffic isn't starved during network congestion.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.89.129.17
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> RADLAN-IPv6::rlIpv6DefaultUP

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.89.129.17.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> RADLAN-IPv6::rlIpv6DefaultUP.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.89.129.17.1 i <value>
