rlDhcpClEnabledByDefaultRemovedIfIndex

Module: RADLAN-DHCPCL-MIB

OID (symbolic): RADLAN-DHCPCL-MIB::rlDhcpClEnabledByDefaultRemovedIfindex

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.89.76.16

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: DHCP Client flag is relevant when host parameter dhcp_client_active_on_start is TRUE. If the MIB has non zero value the meaning is that DHCP client has removed from configuration by the user on the interface and signs to application not to add DHCP client entry. Otherwise (zero value) - the meaning is that DHCP client entry must be added.

What is rlDhcpClEnabledByDefaultRemovedIfIndex?

This read-only value is the ifIndex of a network interface whose DHCP client was enabled by default but has since been removed from the configuration by an administrator. It exists so the device can remember, per interface, that the user deliberately opted out of the default DHCP client behavior on that port rather than treating the absence as accidental. For instance, if a technician disables DHCP on interface 5 because it's wired to a static-IP server, this object would report 5 as the removed interface.

Examples

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.89.76.16
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> RADLAN-DHCPCL-MIB::rlDhcpClEnabledByDefaultRemovedIfindex

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.89.76.16.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> RADLAN-DHCPCL-MIB::rlDhcpClEnabledByDefaultRemovedIfindex.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.89.76.16.1 i <value>
