Description: The counter associated with the number of Path FERF seconds, encountered by a SONET interface in the current 15 minute interval.
What is prtSonetCurrentPathFERF?
A running count of Path Far End Receive Failure (FERF) seconds for this SONET path during the current 15-minute interval. Rising values indicate an active Path-layer defect (as opposed to a Section/Line one), which typically points at the far-end path termination or the specific tributary/VC rather than the raw fiber.
