qbTimingInLineRef
Module: QB-TIMING-MIB
OID (symbolic): QB-TIMING-MIB::qbTimingInLineRef
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.4323.2.11.1.1.6
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: InterfaceIndexOrZero
Access: read-write
Description: The value of ifIndex corresponding to the optical port interface that provides a source for the system time reference. The object is changed in conjunction with 'qbTimingOutputMode'. When 'qbTimingModeAdminStatus' is set to 'freerun' the object is irrelevant and the agent returns 0. Note: only slots main-a, au-1 or au-7 may be selected for this port. The object is relevant only for WAN622, S622-T, Q-155, Q-155T, D155VT/VC, and D155VT/VC-T ports. Only one port at the time can be used as the timing source.
What is qbTimingInLineRef?
This read-write object holds the ifIndex of the optical port interface, restricted to the main-a, au-1, or au-7 slots, that supplies the system's incoming timing reference. It only applies to WAN622, S622-T, Q-155, Q-155T, D155VT/VC, and D155VT/VC-T port types, and the agent returns 0 whenever qbTimingModeAdminStatus is set to freerun since no line reference is needed in that mode. For example, an admin configuring loop timing would set qbTimingInLineRef to the ifIndex of the WAN622 port carrying the recovered clock before switching qbTimingModeAdminStatus to loop(3).
