pwTDMCfgPayloadSize

Module: PW-TDM-MIB

OID (symbolic): PW-TDM-MIB::pwTDMCfgPayloadSize

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.186.1.3.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-create

Description: The value of this object indicates the PayLoad Size (in bytes) to be defined during the PW setUp. Upon TX, implementation must be capable of carrying that amount of bytes. Upon RX, when the Low Entry Networking (LEN) field is set to 0, the payload of packet MUST assume this size, and if the actual packet size is inconsistent with this length, the packet MUST be considered to be malformed.

What is pwTDMCfgPayloadSize?

Sets the payload size in bytes each TDM packet must carry for this configuration profile; on receive, if the Length field is zero the payload must match this exact size or the packet is treated as malformed. Admins tune this to balance bandwidth efficiency against per-packet overhead for the TDM circuit.
