What Is PRVT-SPANNING-TREE-MIB?

PRVT-SPANNING-TREE-MIB is a private vendor MIB, associated with BATM Advanced Communications equipment, for managing the Spanning Tree Protocol (and a related 'fast ring' protocol) on the device's bridging ports. A sudden jump in topology-change count combined with a specific port's high BPDU transmit rate would point to a flapping uplink or a misconfigured redundant path.
