netConfigDataSense

Module: PROBE-MIB

OID (symbolic): PROBE-MIB::netConfigDataSense

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.4.6.1.1.15

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Indicates whether the bits on the channel(s) being tested are inverted. A Mark is a signal pulse on the line. A Space is a bit time with no pulse. The choices for this field are: Normal - Indicates that the bits are not inverted; therefore a Mark is represented by a binary 1. Inverted - A Mark is represented by a binary 0. NRZI - Non-Return to Zero Invert (on zeros), bit timing follows derived line timing. Successive Marks or Spaces represent binary 1. Changes from Mark to Space or from Space to Mark represent a binary 0.

This field applies only to the T1, E1, V-Series, T3/DS-3 WanProbes.

What is netConfigDataSense?

Selects whether bits on the monitored WAN channel are normal(1), inverted(2), or NRZI-encoded(3); this must match the far-end equipment's signal encoding for the probe to decode traffic correctly.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.4.6.1.1.15
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> PROBE-MIB::netConfigDataSense

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.4.6.1.1.15.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> PROBE-MIB::netConfigDataSense.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.4.6.1.1.15.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> netConfigDataSense.1
