currentUtilizationPeriod

Module: PROBE-MIB

OID (symbolic): PROBE-MIB::currentUtilizationPeriod

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.3.7.6.1.5.1.1

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: The number of seconds over which the currentUtilization object is calculated. Any change to this variable causes the value of currentUtilization to be set to all 1's. On a multi-interface probe, this parameter applies only to interface index 1. Refer to currentUtilizationTable in this document for the current utilization parameters for the other interfaces on a multi- interface probe.

What is currentUtilizationPeriod?

Sets the averaging window, in seconds, over which currentUtilization is calculated (default 5); changing this resets the current reading until a full new period has elapsed. On a multi-interface probe this only applies to interface 1 - use the per-interface currentUtilizationTable for the others.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.3.7.6.1.5.1.1
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> PROBE-MIB::currentUtilizationPeriod

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.3.7.6.1.5.1.1.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> PROBE-MIB::currentUtilizationPeriod.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.3.7.6.1.5.1.1.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> currentUtilizationPeriod.1
