powerTemperature

Module: POWERFANS-MIB

OID (symbolic): POWERFANS-MIB::powerTemperature

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.3902.3.200.2.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: Power Temperature

What is powerTemperature?

This read-only INTEGER reports the temperature of a specific power supply. Admins monitor this to catch a power supply running hot before it triggers a protective shutdown. A rising temperature reading on one power supply, especially alongside a fan failure reported via fanStat, would prompt an admin to investigate cooling in that area of the chassis.

Examples
