What is pimStarGRPFRouteMetricPref?
This object stores the metric preference (administrative distance) of the unicast routing protocol route used by PIM to determine the Reverse Path Forwarding interface toward the Rendezvous Point for a given multicast group. The metric preference indicates the route's trustworthiness relative to other routing protocols. Operators monitor this to understand how PIM selects its reverse path interfaces for multicast forwarding.
