What is pimSGRptEntries?

This object is a read-only counter that reports the current number of entries in the Protocol Independent Multicast (PIM) source-group-to-rendezvous-point table. This table tracks the state of multicast flows that are using a shared tree rooted at a rendezvous point rather than a source-specific tree. A network administrator would monitor this value to understand multicast routing activity and verify that PIM is maintaining the expected number of routing entries.
