Description:
If pimSGIAssertState is 'iAmAssertLoser', this is the address of the assert winner. The InetAddressType is given by the pimSGIAssertWinnerAddressType object.
What is pimSGIAssertWinnerAddress?
When a router loses a PIM (Protocol Independent Multicast) assert competition for a multicast source-group pair, this object stores the IP address of the winning router. The assert process determines which router will forward multicast traffic, and this field identifies the winner when the local router loses. Network operators use this to debug multicast routing issues and understand which router won forwarding rights.
