What is pimInvalidJoinPruneRp?
This OID stores the router address found in the most recent malformed multicast control message received by this device. Multicast routing uses these messages to join and leave groups, and an invalid address signals a configuration or compatibility problem. Network administrators use this to track down misconfigurations in multicast routing, especially when different vendor equipment is mixed.
