What is pimInvalidJoinPruneOrigin?
This object stores the source IP address of the last malformed Protocol Independent Multicast (PIM) Join/Prune message received by the device, used for troubleshooting multicast routing problems. The address type (IPv4 or IPv6) is specified in pimInvalidJoinPruneAddressType; if no invalid messages have been received, this object remains empty. An operator checks this during multicast routing diagnostics to identify misconfigured or malfunctioning multicast routers.
