What is sfpType?

sfpType identifies the model or type designation of the SFP transceiver plugged into the port identified by sfpIndex. Admins use it to confirm which optic variant, such as a specific speed or fiber-distance rating, is installed in a given port, useful when auditing hardware or planning capacity. For example, sfpType might report "SFP-10G-SR" for a short-range 10-gigabit transceiver installed on that port.
