What is pdnRedunCommand?

This read-write value lets an admin issue a command, such as switch(2), to an entity module configured for redundancy; reading it returns the last command issued, or noCmd(1) if none has been issued since the last reset. Admins set this to manually force a failover between redundant modules, for example during planned maintenance. For example, an admin sets this to switch(2) to manually force the standby module to become active before servicing the currently active one.
