What is siePciHotPlugSlotCardState?
This read-only enumerated value reports the operational state of the adapter card in the slot, with values including unknown(1), ok(2) meaning powered and operational, safeToRemove(3), removed(4), quiesced(5), notReady(6), powerFault(7), nonHotPluggable(8), and noAssociatedCard(9). Admins monitor this as the primary health indicator for a hot-plug card, watching specifically for powerFault(7) or notReady(6) as failure conditions requiring intervention. For example, a value of safeToRemove(3) confirms the slot has been powered down and isolated from the PCI bus so the technician can now physically extract the card without risk.
