Description: This entry enables the execution of a BER test. Write requests with values other than 'start' or 'stop' will be rejected.
What is bertBERTest?
Starts or stops a bit-error-rate test on the port selected by bertPort; any value other than start or stop is rejected. A modem can only run one BER test at a time, so this is how an admin kicks off or ends a line-quality check.
