mdmRemoteAccessMode

Module: PANDATEL-FXG-MODEM-MIB

OID (symbolic): PANDATEL-FXG-MODEM-MIB::mdmRemoteAccessMode

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.760.1.1.2.1.10.506.1.1.64

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: The possibility of remote management: 'enabled', 'disabled local' or 'disable local and remote'. Once disabled management at local and remote unit, it is not possible to enable it at the remote unit again.

What is mdmRemoteAccessMode?

This read-write value controls whether remote management of this modem is enabled, disabled only at the local unit, or disabled at both local and remote units, noting that once disabled at both ends it cannot be re-enabled from the remote side. An admin sets this to control who can manage the modem remotely, and must be careful when disabling both ends since that lockout can only be reversed from the local unit. For example, setting this object to disable-local-and-remote(9) on a unit that is only locally accessible would permanently prevent remote re-enabling until someone visits the site.
