mdmDataRate

Module: PANDATEL-BMP-MODEM-MIB

OID (symbolic): PANDATEL-BMP-MODEM-MIB::mdmDataRate

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.760.1.1.2.1.10.301.1.1.25

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: The data rate at the interface in bits per seconds. If dataRateAdaptation is disabled, the data rate at the remote counterpart changes simultaneously. Otherwise the data rate at one unit is fixed to line speed and the data rate at the other unit must be set to speeds lower than line speed.

What is mdmDataRate?

This value sets the data rate at the interface in bits per second; if mdmDataRateAdaptation is disabled, changing this simultaneously changes the remote counterpart's rate too, but if adaptation is enabled, one unit stays fixed at line speed while the other can be set to a lower speed. An admin sets this to configure the actual bit rate the modem link operates at, coordinating with mdmDataRateAdaptation depending on whether both ends should move together or independently. For example, with data rate adaptation enabled, setting mdmDataRate to 9600 on the adapted-speed unit configures it to run at 9.6 Kbps while its counterpart stays at full line speed.

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> PANDATEL-BMP-MODEM-MIB::mdmDataRate

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.760.1.1.2.1.10.301.1.1.25.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> PANDATEL-BMP-MODEM-MIB::mdmDataRate.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.760.1.1.2.1.10.301.1.1.25.1 i <value>
