Module: PACKETEER-MIB
OID (symbolic): PACKETEER-MIB::psShapingStatusAdmin
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2334.2.1.6.4
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: This object reflects the current configured traffic shaping status of the PacketShaper. The value of other(4) may occur in certain cases which can only be caused through the PacketShaper's user interface, and cannot be set through this variable
What is psShapingStatusAdmin?
The administrator-configured traffic-shaping mode: on, off, bypass, other, or watch. Setting this is how an admin turns shaping on or off from SNMP; the other(4) value can appear if a state was set through the PacketShaper's own UI that cannot be replicated by writing this variable, so a manager should not expect to be able to set the device into that particular state via SNMP.
