partitionLinkDirection

Module: PACKETEER-MIB

OID (symbolic): PACKETEER-MIB::partitionLinkDirection

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2334.2.1.3.2.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: The orientation of a partition.

What is partitionLinkDirection?

Shows whether this partition governs inbound(1) or outbound(2) traffic on its parent link. Because PacketShaper shapes each direction independently, an admin needs this to know which half of a link's traffic a given partition's rate limits actually apply to.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2334.2.1.3.2.1.3
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> PACKETEER-MIB::partitionLinkDirection

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2334.2.1.3.2.1.3.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> PACKETEER-MIB::partitionLinkDirection.1
