jnxOspfv3ExtAreaLsdbLimit
Module: OSPFV3-MIB-JUNIPER
OID (symbolic): OSPFV3-MIB-JUNIPER::jnxOspfv3ExtAreaLsdbLimit
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2636.5.4.1.1.1.11
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: Integer32
Access: read-write
Description: The maximum number of non-default AS-external-LSAs entries that can be stored in the link state database. If the value is -1, then there is no limit.
When the number of non-default AS-external-LSAs in a router's link-state database reaches ospfv3ExtAreaLsdbLimit, the router enters Overflow state. The router never holds more than ospfv3ExtAreaLsdbLimit non-default AS-external-LSAs in its database. Ospfv3ExtAreaLsdbLimit MUST be set identically in all routers attached to the OSPFv3 backbone and/or any regular OSPFv3 area. (i.e., OSPFv3 stub areas and NSSAs are excluded).
What is jnxOspfv3ExtAreaLsdbLimit?
Maximum number of non-default AS-External LSAs this router will hold before entering LSDB Overflow state; -1 means no limit. This value must match across all routers in the backbone/regular areas or overflow handling gets inconsistent.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2636.5.4.1.1.1.11 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> OSPFV3-MIB-JUNIPER::jnxOspfv3ExtAreaLsdbLimit
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2636.5.4.1.1.1.11.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> OSPFV3-MIB-JUNIPER::jnxOspfv3ExtAreaLsdbLimit.1
Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):
snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2636.5.4.1.1.1.11.1 i <value>
SNMPv3 example:
snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> jnxOspfv3ExtAreaLsdbLimit.1
